The excursion starts with a gathering at the "Rabbit Market", where we will meet up with all the participants of the tour. We will start out by going right across Margarita Island to the peninsula of Macanao. Here we will first visit the Marine Museum, in the town called Boca de Rio, where we will e.g. see corals, colorful fishes and learn about the history of fishing.

At the end of our tour, we will take a trip on the Restinga-lagoon. We will sail through the idyllic mangrove-channels which, true to Venezuelan culture, have been given romantic names such as; “the Channel of Kisses” and “the Garden of Love”.

After the beautiful trip on the lagoon, we will head back to the hotels.
