Tip It is customary to tip in Venezuela, and it is therefore a good idea to give a small amount, e.g. 5 BsF. to the maid or the waiter upon arrival at your hotel, and once again later during your vacation. It is, of course, voluntary to tip, but you will often experience extra service in return for a tip. In restaurants the tip is often included in the price. Regardless, you are expected to leave a tip if you are satisfied with the service.
