During the day we will, for instance, visit the church in El Valle, which is also home to the Holly Virgin of the Valley and thus is a sacred gathering point for the Catholic Church. Also, we will stop at the old fortress, Castillo Santa Rosa, near the capital, La Asunción. From here we will enjoy the view of the green mountains and valleys. It will be possible to buy souvenirs in a local shop during the day. Furthermore, we will visit the Tropical Maze, where you will get a close encounter with the local flora and fauna.

On the northwestern side of the island, we will stop to enjoy the view to the village known as the last Indian village of Margarita. In Juan Griego we will visit the La Galera Fortress, from where we will enjoy the view of the scenic Juan Griego bay, in which you will often see pelicans flocking around the local fishing boats.
