We sail out from Juan Griego, a small fishing village on the eastern coast of Margarita, and head for Los Frailes which we will reach about 2 hours later. As we distance ourselves from the shore, you will enjoy the view to Margarita’s most popular beaches, as well as rock formations invaded by hundreds of pelicans. During the whole trip, you are entitled to beverages free of charge.
While we approach los Frailes, which is an archipelago to the north east of Margarita, we might be lucky and see dolphins and Flying Fish. Once we have reached the shores of Los Frailes, we will debark at a small cottage used by the fishermen whenever they spent the night on the island. Here you will be handed your snorkeling gear and the big underwater adventure is about to begin. You will be able to see sea urchins, corals, herds of tropical fish and—with a bit of luck—dolphins. Meanwhile, our lunch will be prepared. After having satisfied our hunger, we will resume our underwater exploration until we head back to Margarita Island in the late afternoon.
